The Odisena Prism

One work. Many renderings.

A cross-media transmutation engine that converts a single source work between art, books, film/TV, and invention material — through a shared motif graph that every lane reads and writes.

The shared representation

The Motif Graph.

Every lane reads and writes the same structure. Motifs are the nodes; works bind to the motifs they carry; lanes transform a work from one medium to another while preserving that motif structure, so the same idea can be recognized across an illustration, a chapter, a scene, or a claim.

Binding is per work, not per corpus. If a work does not bind cleanly to its motifs, the engine raises rather than guesses — a strict boundary that keeps the graph honest about what it actually knows.

4 media × 3 destinations

The Twelve Lanes.

Four media — art, books, film/TV, and invention material — connect through twelve directed transmuter lanes, one for every ordered pair. Each lane is a specific direction: book to screen, art to invention, screen to book, and so on.

Every lane is single-work scoped. A lane runs on one named work at a time. It never sweeps the whole corpus — the engine transmutes what you point it at, not everything it can see.

Governance outranks similarity

The Gatekeeper.

Every promotion passes four checks before it is allowed to stand: provenance, embargo, honesty, and promotion. A rendering does not get promoted for reading well — it gets promoted for passing the gate.

Governance outranks similarity. The engine may become more faithful to the source work only when its provenance and classification stay clean. A closer match is not a reason to relax a check.

Doctrine

The rules that hold the engine together.

D·01

Regenerate, don't patch

Promotion is decided by evidence gates, not by hand-editing a status label until it looks right.

D·02

Governance outranks similarity

Faithfulness to the source may improve only when provenance, classification, and embargo checks stay clean.

D·03

Per-work binding

Strict work-scoped binding raises on orphans instead of guessing which work an element belongs to.

D·04

Single-lane scope

A lane runs on one named work at a time — never the whole corpus in one pass.

D·05

Human merge gate

A person reviews every promotion before it stands. Nothing merges on its own.

Why this address

Why "weird.earth"

This is the strangest address in the constellation, on purpose. Transmutation — turning one work into an entirely different medium and having it still be recognizably itself — is the weird part of the work. The rigor above, the motif graph, the twelve scoped lanes, the Gatekeeper's four checks, and the human merge gate, is what makes that weirdness safe to publish.
